About Me

Hi! My name is Eric Lu and I was born in Taiwan. As an only child, I immigrated with my parents to Dallas, Texas at the tender age of three and grew up loving the great outdoors, basketball and steak (preferably all at once).

I am currently a student at Harvard Medical School, a blessing I am grateful for to my family, friends and teachers. I don’t know exactly what kind of medicine I want to go into, but I do have an interest in global health and social entrepreneurship.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments!

    Hey Eric,
I just happened to click on the link at the bottom of your signature about the class hug (so great, btw, can’t wait to take part!), and then started reading your posts about our class & global health & social justice… Really look fwd to meeting you and jumping in with the awesomeness.

Nice site. Good luck to you from California. GP here, grad UCLA fifty years ago, only two Asians in class. My folks came from poverty Guangdong Provence. From what I see here in CA the Taiwanese are very sharp, lots of intellect and insight. We came from poor rural farm small villages. I was born here though.

Hey Eric, Thanks for your help in the Bible map stuff. My cousin in Dallas Texas Dr.Paul Tan has led groups to the Holy Land for 20 years. He is an excellent pastor and a great Bible teacher. I plan to go with him one of these days when I can find time and money to do it. Have a good time at HMS. I know you will be a great doctor soon. LeeAnn has found a job in LA now and she is working as a graphic designer for an Architech firm. ETS
